The Lore of a Life Story is a 1-day generative writing workshop focused on hybrid stories AKA fictionalizing true stories into speculative pieces and creating legends on liminal spaces in your neighborhood. We will also explore dreamscapes, journal, and explore metaphorical rebirths.
Writing prompts will range from 7 minutes to 20 minutes each. This class is open to all levels of writers.
This is not a traditional workshop, meaning we write together and there will be opportunities to share for those who want to. Brief feedback will be provided by Rios once the workshop is completed to those who want to expand on a piece generated in class. Feedback will be provided by July 21st.
